The Fun Experts are proud to have walked the corridor in the ITV studios to the set of This Morning, where our golden raffle drum was introduced as a daily feature of their Spin to Win competition segment and has been used every day since by the likes of Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond! Raffle drum aside, we have also provided them with lots of other fun entertainment including supplying our Giant Graffiti Wall when they featured Huxlow Science College's first leavers prom, which was hosted by I'm a Celeb Winner Georgia Toffolo, better known as Toff!
Over the years we've begun to feel quite at home in the ITV studios, as we've been enlisted to provide some of our equipment for several of their TV shows other the years. We've assisted the Loose Women multiple times now, the first time providing our Boom Balloon Blasters for a competition between the panel and their guest Gemma Collins and that following Christmas, setting up a Wooden Santa's Grotto Facade for Colleen Nolan to film in front of as she told a festive story whilst wearing various Christmas costumes during one of their seasonal specials, both of which were featured live on TV.
Speaking of ITV, this comedian is known for his multiple TV programmes on the network, a couple of which we've had the pleasure of working on. Our first time working on one of Keith Lemon's shows was when we got the call from the Celebrity Juice crew looking to hire a Cash Grabber and fill it with not cash, not balls but crisps! We tried out many variations of crisps from Whatsits to Quavers before finding the solution with crisp packets instead, which looked great under the studio lights! Our second encounter with Keith came when he put on his own production of Grease starring himself and Paddy McGuinness for the finale of the Keith and Paddy Picture Show and was in need of some Carnival Games and a Candyfloss Cart to recreate that iconic funfair scene.
Providing fun for football fans is something we love doing every season but when we get the chance to entertain the players themselves, that's even more exciting! Southampton FC once ran a social media campaign to help get their fans in the festive spirit and who better to call when you need a Christmas Cash Grabber and Tree Shaped Buzz Wire to put the team to the test than The Fun Experts? We've brought the entertainment to your favourite clubs from Liverpool FC to Manchester United and met some famous faces along the way including Wayne Rooney, Bryan Robson, Ryan Giggs, David James and BBC Sport host Gabby Logan.
A talent that was recognised by the Britain's Got Talent crew and their star studded panel of judges from Simon Cowell to Ant and Dec when The Fun Experts were invited to put together a fairground scene for a day of filming in Blackpool Winter Gardens. Our Funfair Stalls, Test of Strength and Fun Food Carts came together to create a colourful carnival that looked great on camera and resulted in a playful spat between Simon and David as they argued over who would have the first go at the Coconut Shy! To top it all off, Ant and Dec appeared on stage infront of the audience wearing leis and giant sunglasses that they had won on our Side Stalls.
Not quite a celebrity encounter but an iconic Channel 4 TV programme nonetheless and one that we had a lot of fun featuring in! If you've never seen Don't Tell The Bride, it involves a couple of nearly weds leaving their entire wedding up to the groom and a complete surprise to the bride (who often ends up in tears!). In our episode, the groom was planning a Beauty & The Beast themed wedding day and naturally needed a large Bouncy Castle, Red Carpet and a couple of Elaborate Thrones to go along with it! The groom, his best man and the camera crew came along to Fun Towers to select the perfect kit and ended up finding just what they were looking for, all of which where key features of their big day.
If you're an Emmerdale fan, you might remember long-standing character Ashley's Dementia storyline and that one episode where the cast had lots of fun with our Funfair Side Stalls and wooden stocks... you guessed it, those were ours! With our solid reputation for providing on-screen entertainment, ITV contacted us once again in search of some fairground games to feature in a storyline that was hitting headlines at the time. Our Fun Experts couldn't contain their excitement when heading down to the Yorkshire Dales to set up the equipment meet the cast and we weren't disappointed as they were just like we imagined!
It's not every day you get the call asking you to climb to the top of the O2 for a TV show but when Channel 4 need a winter wonderland scene to film The Gadget Show's Christmas special, you get strapped up, start climbing and rise to the challenge! This event was a once in a lifetime opportunity and one that The Fun Experts who attended will never forget. The views of London from the top were amazing and our snowy forest backdrop along with Christmas Props looked so great on camera that The Gadget Show asked our Fun Experts to deck their set out with festive theming and an Inflatable Grotto for filming the following week.
When actress and presenter Kym Marsh celebrated her 40th birthday, she brought the party to life with help from The Fun Experts. We were thrilled to be part of such a special occasion, providing a range of entertainment that added excitement, laughter and unforgettable moments to the evening. With friends family and famous faces all coming together to celebrate, it was a night to remember and we were proud to help make it even more fun.
Ending on a highlight for the Fun Experts who attended this event, the time we were lucky enough to be a part of the UK's longest running children's TV show! This episode of Blue Peter was filmed around the time of the FA Cup final and so the cast were getting ready to compete in a 5-a-side game of Human Table Football. We have a few of these in our warehouse and so we were invited to Media City in Salford to supply a fun and challenging Inflatable and the whole team were thrilled when their childhood dreams came true and they received Blue Peter badges when all the fun was done.
After making our soap debut on Emmerdale, we got the call from the Corrie crew and were more than happy to head down to one of the UK's most famous streets. The Manchester based soap opera were filming a Christmas market scene for one of their festive episodes and were after a selection of seasonal Side Stalls to deck the cobbles. Director of Fun, Sunny, along with some of our events team had the opportunity to go on set, which is also a popular tourist attraction for Corrie super fans, and seeing some familiar filming locations, including the iconic Rovers Return Inn. We've loved doing Emmerdale and Coronation Street, so where next? The Square? We'll have to wait and see...
