If you have a business yourself, it's pretty likely that you will have paid the NEC a visit. Located in Birmingham, the NEC is the UK's largest Exhibition venue and each year hosts hundreds of events where businesses in similar industries come together, network and get more exposure. This summer, it was time for the NEC Group to hold an event of their own that their staff could enjoy, with the common ground being them bringing their families along for a full Family Fun Day. With up to 600 guests to entertain and food units booked in serving snacks, drinks and soft serve ice cream, they just needed the entertainment to go with it and who better to get in touch with than The Fun Experts...
Event organiser Mark had a budget and number of guests in mind upon enquiring with The Fun Experts, which was really useful for Beth from our fantastic sales team as she began to put together the perfect event proposal. This covered all the Fun Day must haves from Inflatables such as our Hungry Hippos, Rodeo Ride, Bouncy Castle and Basketball Inflatable, to three different Fairground Stalls including Hoopla and Hook a Duck and other exciting additions like Mini Golf, Bounce a Ball, Giant Games and a Circus Skills Workshop complete with entertainers, sourced from a trusted agency we've worked with for many years. Mark was eager to get all of this booked in and with confirmation from the Circus and Face Painting agencies we were all good to go!
On the day of the event, seven Fun Experts left the unit at the crack of dawn with three packed vans ready to get set up in time for the Fun Day to start. We've attended many events at the NEC before so the team were already familiar with the venue, which always makes for an even quicker and more efficient set up. The event all ran smoothly and our Fun Experts had a great time staffing the equipment and engaging with the NEC staff and their families. I'm sure we'll be returning to the NEC soon, so if you have an upcoming Exhibition, we'd love to add some fun to your stand and help you stand out from the crowd!
