If you're local to The Fun Experts, you'll probably have spent an afternoon at Barton Grange and their entertainment centre, The Flower Bowl (both definitely worth a visit if you haven't already). One of The Flower Bowl's employees, Sarah, met our sales assistant Dom and Director of Fun, Sunny, at Shout Expo's Lancashire Business Exhibition back in March and soon got in touch to enquire about a summer party she had been put in charge of organising for The Flower Bowl's staff and their families.
When she got in touch with Dom, Sarah already had a good idea of the types of equipment she wanted to feature as the party's main attractions and extras which included Rodeo Rides, our Wipeout Challenge and Pick n Mix Cart, but requested quotes and dimensions from Dom for each piece of kit to determine which would be the best fit for her venue and budget. In the end, Sarah decided on the Wrecking Ball Inflatable, Surf Simulator, Cactus Toss and Coconut Shy Stall and finally our Photobooth complete with it's funky skin and groovy hats and glasses to keep her guests entertained. Closer to the event, we said goodbye to that glorious heat wave, which meant that the weather forecast wasn't looking great for the day of the event, so logistics worked with Sarah to select some entertainment alternatives should the weather take a turn for the worst.
In the end, there was nothing to worry about, as the rain washed away throughout the day and ended up being a lovely sunny evening. Five Fun Experts headed to Barton Grange's stunning on-site venue, decorated with paper lanterns, bunting and balloons and surrounded by willow trees, while our equipment once all set up really added the extra wow-factor to the event. 300 guests attended in total and everyone got the chance to have a go at knocking their colleagues off the podiums with our Wrecking Ball, compete for the high score on the Surf Simulator and make some memories to keep forever with the help of our Photobooth prints.
