The Best Red Rose Awards Ever!

It promised to be a sell-out evening of fun, laughter and a celebration of Lancashire businesses and the Red Rose Awards certainly didn’t disappoint!

Sponsors Sunshine Events ditched our infamous purple t-shirts for one night only, to join an audience of more than 1,000 people filling the Winter Gardens’ Empress Ballroom in Blackpool.

And it turns out, we can do posh after all! We not only turned up in style in a fabulous limousine complete with champagne, but the team were dressed to the nines in full black tie attire. We all looked dapper, even if we do say so ourselves.

James Sandwell, Director of Fun, said:

“It was a fantastic night of awards, good food and fantastic company. It was an incredible experience and though we may not have won on the night, it was a great pleasure to be recognised alongside some exceptional businesses in the Tourism and Leisure Business of the Year award.

“We’re extremely proud to have sponsored the Red Rose 2015 and we can’t wait until next year’s festivities!”

All the team had an EPIC night out and our event equipment went down a storm! Here are lots of pictures from the night...

Our photo booth looked absolutely fantastic with Lancashire Business View branding. It was the perfect crowd puller with everyone wanting to take part in creating a picture-perfect memory to take home- well after they had put their selfie sticks down!

Our traditional cart hires went down a treat, mostly because they were filled with scrumptious cupcakes provided by Eat My Logo

We spotted quite a few people stuffing their faces and hanging around the carts at midnight for some late night munchies… we won’t name and shame them though!

Our boom balloon blasters are fantastic fun- you can rest assured once you pop, you can’t stop!

The highly addictive game saw many businesses step up to the plate to be the first to burst their balloon and win.

The Roll A Ball Donkey Derby meanwhile was great fun, enticing all ages to have a go at this addictive game. We spotted quite a few people getting competitive to say the least but who are we to name and shame *cough cough, Ryan Lee*

Would you crack or thrive when under the pressure of Batak Pro? Many of the guests at the Red Rose Awards put their hand-eye coordination to the test with this fun, pressure game.

It’s a fantastic game to improve reaction and stamina as well as have lots of laughs!
