You will be responsible for delivering our service of fun entertainment equipment hire to a variety of clients across the nation to a range of events, from Family Fun Days to Community Events, Corporate Event Entertainment to Universities and Schools and Promotional Events, Exhibitions and more. You will receive training in the many pieces of equipment that you will come to use as your tools in delivering our event service.

This is a unique opportunity to travel to towns and cities across the UK and deliver all kinds of equipment from interactive items such as 360 Photo Booths and Virtual Reality to Inflatables Assault Courses and Activities, Axe Throwing & Archery to name a few - check out the full variety of fun on our website.



With our Offices and Depot based in Preston, Lancashire, one day you could be in find yourself travelling to Manchester, the next London or Glasgow!

What does an average day look like?

• You'll start the day meeting the team at our Main Depot in Preston, Lancashire
• You'll be involved in loading the equipment in to the vehicle
• Once loaded, you're off...you'll be attending an event for one of clients somewhere in the UK (using our scheduling software, you'll know long before your shift start where you're off too)
• On arrival at the venue, you'll be setting up the fun equipment with the event team
• It's time for the event, where you'll be responsible for supervising / operating a piece of equipment
• Come the event end, it's time to pack down load up the van and head back to the Depot

As part of the Events Team as a Driver and Event Team Member, you will be travelling to an event where you (and a team of Fun Experts) will set up the entertainment, then remaining throughout the event to supervise equipment and assist guests.

As a Driver, we require...

• Either previous experience driving vans (Various sizes include Short Wheel Base Transit, Jumbo / Sprinter sized vans) if not, then driving assessments will be offered if no current experience
• Full Driving Licence - ideally 3+ years driving experience (for insurance purposes)
• In line with our Fleet Insurance Policy, a Drivers Check will be required.
• You should be smart in appearance, reliable, polite and great with dealing with people of all ages and abilities.
  
  

The role can be physical with unloading vans, setting up equipment and can require working outdoors and standing up in variable weather. Events can include some long unsociable hours, we a have a requirement for all staff to be able to work weekends and early morning events as well as evenings – there are a variety of opportunities!

The position is on a Casual Workers Agreement and event shifts are provided through our shift scheduling software. If you are successful in your application and interview, you will then be invited to an Induction, this will be an opportunity to gain more of an insight in to your role, covering health & safety elements and preparing you for your first event.
