All the team here at Sunshine Events are always super, duper happy but recently we’ve been ecstatic and for a good reason.
Why we hear you ask? Well because we’ve been able to get involved in this year’s most exciting sporting event- the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games!
When Scotland called, we answered by supplying over 100 traditional deck chairs and one giant deck chair for the Glasgow Green Live Zone.
Situated in the centre of Glasgow, the beautiful city park lies at the heart of the Games and is the go-to-place to watch all the sport completely free. The opening ceremony was broadcast here to over 25,000 local people and live festivities have been taking place throughout the Games including great music, dance, comedy, craft and ceilidhs.
All the team at Sunshine are very proud to be working with the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and are delighted they chose a Preston-based firm to get involved. As after all, we are the UK's fun experts!
