Summer Round Up - 2026

And just like that, it's done.

Summer 2026 you have been hot, you have been fun, you have been filled with Events up and down the country and it's been an absolute pleasure!

Traditionally you would say Summer starts in June, lasting 3 months but for us, it does start to begin a little sooner than that. Pretty much from April we start to consider it as the Summer season; the weather is getting warmer, days are getting longer and everyone wants to have a Fun Day.

We've revisited clients for the annual events and worked with new throughout the Summer also. Every event has been a unique experience, thanks mainly to the people - you, our customers, and your guests have been a huge part of making 2026 a Summer to remember. So let's have a quick round up of everything that made the events of Summer 2026 such a huge success.

New Equipment

Family Fun Days should always feature the classic selection of inflatables and funfair side stalls, but we like to introduce new pieces to keep things fresh. This year that included brand new stall games, table top games, inflatables and more.

With safety paramount to what we do and the quality of our equipment key, that meant some inflatables saw new versions - pieces of the Assault Course saw replacements, as did the Rodeo Bulls and Wipeout (which can now play with 6 people not 4!).

Tech equipment saw the same, with upgrades of older pieces and completely brand new equipment. This included Roll A Ball, Selfie Pods, Hang Tough and more. AND...we can't forget our amazing new Team Building Experiences that included The Betrayers, Master of Tasks and more.

Fun Travelled The Country

For your Fun Days in Manchester, University Events in Liverpool, Exhibitions in London, Team Building in Cardiff; all across the country The Fun Experts travelled to bring it's 5* service to you. 

One of the biggest 'perks' to being a Fun Expert is travelling all over the UK to visit you at your Events. Sometimes this can mean seeing things you wouldn't normally see - for example, delivering a team event behind the scenes at the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Tour. Turns out it can be more fun playing on a Hungry Hippos Inflatable than learning to fly on a broomstick!

It's been a pleasure working with you at your Events - for teams at The Walt Disney Company, Amazon, DHL, Nando's, AO and Bimringham University to name a few, we've seen your events cater to a footfall of hundreds and thousands.

Leyland Trucks returned to us again to celebrate their 125th anniversary event which saw guests of 4,500 attend - a massive, hugely successful Family Fun Day.

New customers as well as returning customers meant that The Fun Experts were spending every day of the week and weekends meeting new people and what can only be described as old friends - literally hundreds of events have been delivered over the last few months.

New Fun Experts

Our Events Team grew massively in the Summer of 2026, with 30 new team members joining us. This was alongside our new Business Support Assistant Lisa, and over in Sales Max joined the team; on hand to support you in planning your next Event.

All of whom have been a massive part of making the last few months such a huge success for you, your event and your guests.

Branding Levelled Up

For years, we've been able to support you and your event not only with Fun, but with being able to really shout about your brand. The majority of our equipment benefits from the ability of being able to add bespoke branding, and in Summer 2026 this levelled up. With our in-house design team, we extended our physical branding area allowing more room to prepare the increased demand for client branding.

So just in case you didn't know, yes we can cater to your branding needs in house when you choose your entertainment equipment with us. 

It was hot...very hot!

In a year that saw temperatures beat records, it meant a new challenge for The Fun Experts and Event Organisers across the country, keeping people safe while still being able to enjoy the Fun. With plenty of water on supply and the air con in the vans topped up, every event went ahead with great success, all the while keeping everyone protected and safe on some hot Summer days. 

What next?

Believe it or not - Christmas! While there are a couple of months before the festive season really begins, Christmas themed fun is being booked in. Between now and then, there'll be a whole host of team events, exhibitions and promotional events taking place where we can't wait to bring your chosen equipment.
