It's always nice to get something special at Christmas - yes sunshines, we're sorry to bring up the C word in February but we promise you'll soon be glad we did! Want to know why? If you follow us on social media (let's be friends?) then you might have seen our Dear Santa Nomination back in December when we asked our lovely little rays of sunshine if they knew somebody who deserved a very special treat! (See, it's getting good now isn't it?)
The Fun Towers received hundreds of wishlists and our special elves couldn't wait to bring the laughter to our lucky competition winners! Each and every letter was more than worthy of a special treat and although Santa's sleigh was bursting to the rim (Rudolph was even struggling a little!), we picked not one, not two but THREE nominees...and we simply couldn't wait to bring the magic!
This story brought a little bit of sunshine to our office. This entrant got in touch to nominate the nursing team at St.Joseph's Hospice in Liverpool for a special reward this Christmas.
"Our fantastic three nursing teams will be spending every day of the festivities looking after our 29 terminally ill patients, as they do every other day of the year and I would love for them to receive something so that they know how much they are valued"
We couldn't wait to send a little treat to the nurses to thank them for all of their hard work and so we sent them a box of sunshine to brighten up their day! (The nurses were so excited that they munched them all right away!)
As you know, we are the experts in all things fantabulous and so this entrant definitely brought a smile to our face!
"Our Event Manager always works hard to put on fantastic events for ourselves and also for our clients. Often with steam coming out of her ears when plans change at short notice, she still smiles and says 'no problem!'"
We too love bringing the smiles to your events and so we couldn't wait to send this winner some happiness. Our Fun Experts knew that the whole team deserved some fun too so we couldn't resist to send them some happiness as well!
Last but no means least is the nomination of a devoted mother from her daughter, wanting to thank her lovely Mum for all of her love and kindness (how sweet is that?!) Our Fun Experts sent some joy and happiness making sure that this little ray of sunshine felt very special indeed!
This competition certainly went down a treat, with a fantastic number of people getting in touch and when it comes to Christmas spirit, you sunshines certainly do not disappoint! From revelations about supportive work colleagues, family members and special friends, it was so much fun to read all of your stories. Once again, thank you to everyone who entered; whenever we look through our e-mails we can't stop smiling.
