Earlier this week, Nando’s turned up the heat in more ways than one, as they hosted an unforgettable Family Fun Day in Roehampton. Teaming up with The Fun Experts, the event transformed a sunny August afternoon into a playground of excitement for all ages.
From the moment families arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary day out. Friendly comperes and event hosts welcomed guests with high energy and warm smiles, setting the tone for a day of laughter, thrills, and classic summer fun.
The attractions were a perfect mix of nostalgic favourites and modern entertainment. The Victorian swing boats gave families a charming trip back in time, while the bungee trampolines launched kids skyward with gravity defying grins. Adrenaline seekers queued up for the Helter Skelter inflatable slide and the popular bouncy castle, while sporty guests headed for the basketball inflatable and table football stations.
For those ready to test their balance and bravery, the Surf Simulator and the hilarious Rodeo Sheep proved to be top crowd pleasers. Nearby, the Cactus Ring Toss and hook-a-duck stalls added that traditional fairground vibe, complete with colourful prizes and cheerful competition.
Families posed for silly snaps at the seaside photo peep board and relaxed in the giant deckchair while enjoying treats from the candy floss and popcorn carts. The scent of fresh popcorn and sugary candy floss filled the air, adding to the nostalgic carnival atmosphere.
Game lovers were in their element at the giant games area, where giant versions of childhood classics brought out the competitive side in both kids and adults. Crazy golf offered some light hearted challenge, while the World’s Largest Pacman and Digital Whack-A-Mole attracted tech fans for some retro arcade fun.
No fun day would be complete without a bit of showmanship and spectacle. The test of strength brought out plenty of muscle flexing and laughter, and the frisbee throw stall saw some surprisingly accurate throws. Bright event flags lined the area, giving everything a vibrant and festive feel.
To top it all off, Nando’s made sure there were plenty of prize packages handed out throughout the day. Whether you hit the high score or just gave it your best shot, everyone left with a smile and a memory or two.
