What Did the Client, Little People UK, Want?

Little People UK, co-founded by Warwick & Sammy Davis in 2011,  a national charity providing support to people with dwarfism and their families, was preparing for its Annual Convention in Nottingham.

Following a successful partnership the previous year, the charity made the decision to invite The Fun Experts back for a second consecutive year to deliver engaging, inclusive entertainment for attendees of all ages.

The Annual Convention is a highlight in the charity’s calendar - a chance for members from across the UK to connect, socialise and enjoy a packed schedule of activities in a welcoming and accessible environment.

Two experienced members of The Fun Experts team attended the convention in Nottingham to manage delivery and installation.

• Ensured equipment spacing allowed comfortable access for all

Creating Inclusive, Shared Experiences

Accessibility was at the heart of the event.

• The Scalextric proved to be a standout attraction. Featuring a large, dynamic track raised off the ground, it allowed several participants to race simultaneously while spectators gathered around to watch and cheer.
• Virtual Bowling was another huge success. Strikes and spares were celebrated across generations, creating moments of shared excitement.
• The Atari Pong Table added a nostalgic and interactive twist, encouraging friendly competition between parents, children and friends alike.

Every activity was designed not simply as entertainment for all, but to create connection...and some healthy competition to of course.

“Little People UK were delighted to have The Fun Experts return to their annual convention.

Their two staff members were efficient on setting up each of the five activities in time for our guests to enjoy. The games were easily accessible for all members of different ages and abilities, something very important to the charity, and provided hours of entertainment.

The Scalextric was a particular favourite, with a huge track allowing several people to compete against each other. The track itself dynamic and raised off the ground enabled others to watch and enjoy the race too.

The bowling was also great, the balls being very lightweight made a sport that could be challenging, fun! Younger children could get strikes and spares, just like their older peers.
