Fun Done Right in Leicester: A Brilliant Day with Leicester Parish Community

When Leicester Forest East Parish Council set out to organise a community event for local families, they wanted more than just a gathering. They wanted a day full of colour, laughter and energy. The kind of event that brings people together, gives children something to remember and helps neighbours connect beyond the usual hello. That is exactly what they created — and we were thrilled to be part of it.

To help make the day a success, The Fun Experts provided a mix of attractions designed to engage all ages and keep the atmosphere buzzing from start to finish.

Families arrived to the sight of a bright red pop up gazebo, setting the tone with a bold splash of colour. This was for the excellent face painter, so the children could add all kinds of colour to their faces or transform into an animal or a popular fictional character.

After that, the kids headed straight for the Bouncy Castle, which was a non-stop hit throughout the day. For those feeling competitive, the Hook-a-Duck stall and Inflatable Darts Pod were perfect for all ages and added that extra level of fun and challenge.

The Test of Strength was another standout moment. Adults and older children lined up to give it a go, and it quickly turned into a crowd favourite with lots of cheers and laughter.

Behind the scenes, we provided the generator and equipment to keep everything running smoothly, ensuring the event was powered, set up and ready to go without a hitch.
