August Round-Up with The Fun Experts: A Summer of Smiles, Sunshine and Standout Events

August is always one of our busiest and most exciting months. From community gatherings and university welcome days to corporate celebrations and public service events, we have travelled up and down the country helping people laugh, connect and create unforgettable memories. Whether it was through giant inflatables or nostalgic fairground games, our mission has remained the same: to bring people together through the power of fun.

Here is a look back at just some of the fantastic events we were proud to be part of this month.

Leicester Forest East Parish Council: Community Spirit in Full Swing

Our August began with a family event that perfectly captured the heart of summer. Leicester Forest East Parish Council set out to create more than just a local gathering and succeeded in delivering a vibrant day filled with colour, laughter and community connection. We supported the event with a full line-up of attractions including a Bouncy Castle, Inflatable Darts, Hook-a-Duck and even a test of strength challenge. The highlight for many children was visiting the face painter under our bright red gazebo before bouncing the afternoon away.

Liverpool FC: Staff Fun with a Competitive Twist

Next up, we joined the legendary Liverpool Football Club for a staff appreciation event that combined team spirit with plenty of laughter. The Roll A Ball Donkey Derby brought out the competitive streak in everyone while the photo booth allowed colleagues to capture some lighter moments and celebrate the hard work they do behind the scenes. Safe to say the atmosphere was electric and the event was a brilliant reminder that fun is a fantastic way to say thank you.

TJX Rugby: Going the Distance for a 24/7 Team

We understand that not every team works a 9 to 5. At TJX in Rugby, we delivered an overnight event that catered to all shifts, running until 4am to ensure no one missed out on the fun. With activities like Crack the Safe, Shoot the Hoop and our signature photo booth, there was plenty to keep the energy levels high. The feedback from the organisers was glowing and we are already looking forward to their Christmas event later this year.

Nando’s Roehampton: A Sizzling Family Fun Day

At Nando’s Family Fun Day in Roehampton, the fun came thick and fast. This was a day packed with energy and entertainment. From the Victorian swing boats to the Helter Skelter, from Bungee Trampolines to the hilarious Rodeo Sheep, there was something for everyone. Our team set the scene with event flags, deckchairs and candy floss carts, helping Nando’s create a joyful, family event that left everyone smiling and satisfied.

Cheshire Police VPX Events: Building Bridges through Fun

Over three separate events in August, we partnered with Cheshire Police for their VPX programme aimed at engaging young people and families during the summer holidays. Our Inflatable Assault Course, Wipeout Challenge and classic Bouncy Castle helped foster a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that encouraged connection between the police and the community. With glowing reviews from organisers and families alike, these events highlighted how entertainment can support positive social outcomes.

Lancaster University: Breaking the Ice for International Students

Starting University is a major milestone and Lancaster University made sure their international students felt welcome from the start. With a bespoke package of team building activities including Hungry Hippos, a Wrecking Ball and classic school sports day games, the event created a vibrant space where students could connect, laugh and build friendships. It was a fantastic way to support new arrivals during a time of transition and we were proud to be part of it.

Enfinium Knottingley: From Industry to Celebration

At Enfinium’s industrial site in Knottingley, we helped transform a working environment into a buzzing celebration for employees and their families. High energy inflatables like the Pole Joust and Football Shootout brought the action while traditional games and treats such as candy floss and popcorn added a nostalgic touch. The result was a warm and engaging event that perfectly matched Enfinium’s values of innovation and appreciation.

KeolisAmey Docklands: A Sweet Treat for DLR Travellers

To round off the month, we brought a little bit of joy to Greenwich DLR Station thanks to our branded ice cream bike and support for KeolisAmey Docklands. With volunteers on hand and a tombola full of prizes, this thoughtful initiative welcomed visitors to the area and made public transport feel just a little more magical. It was a great reminder that even small events can make a big difference when delivered with heart.

Looking Ahead

August has shown us once again how powerful shared experiences can be.
