It's pretty hard to believe that we're now in June and halfway through 2023 and with that can only come one thing... a May round up! May has been a great month for The Fun Experts filled with sunshine, celebrations and of course, whole lot of fun. You know the drill by now, in this blog we're going to give you a run down of some of the most memorable events from the last month...
May started with an event local to our Directors of Fun, Sunny and James Sandwell. The event was held at Hutton Community Village Hall for the local parish who enlisted The Fun Experts to provide some Inflatable Fun for the day, the organisers opted for our Penalty Shoot Out, as well as the Surf Simulator, which James was very eager to have a go at! While Sunny and Jim might no get to attend as many events as they'd like these days, it makes it all the more fun when they do!
A huge weekend in the Fun Expert calendar this year, following the amount of fun had last year for the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee, we know we were in for an action packed weekend with this year's Coronation. Parish Councils up and down the UK were in need of some fun entertainment to bring their communities together at local Fun Days that were being held to honour the big day and it's safe to say we did nothing short of that! Our team headed out across the country in vans filled with as much fun as possible ready to set up Inflatables, Giant Games, Crazy Golf Courses and so much more for the likes of Westminster, Weaverham, Swanmore Councils.
For University students that is! And we've been busy busy busy providing entertainment at end of year celebrations for students all over. We've been attending events at UCLAN, our local, and the Universities of Salford, Liverpool and Birmingham, which you can find out more about in our Case Study. Our Fun Food Carts, particularly Popcorn, have proved very popular at these events, as well as a selection of different Side Stalls inspired by popular carnival games including Coconut Shy, Hoopla and the Cactus Ring Toss.
We've discovered a bit of a running theme... If you caught our April Round Up, you might remember that the busiest day of the month was the 20th, which was also the case for May! One of the many events on the 20th was a Seaside Themed party which we helped the National Association of Round Tables to put together and was very aptly held in Blackpool! The line up of entertainment included our Surf Simulator, Magic Selfie Mirror, some funky themed Props and of course a shed load of Deckchairs!
After a super fun stint last summer providing weekly pre match entertainment at Old Trafford for Lancashire County Cricket Club, the team was really pleased to go back this year. The first two of seven events that have been booked with them so far took place at the end of May and featured a range of their favourites from last year as well as some new entertainment such as Fairground Side Stalls, including our new Frisbee Throw, Maze Runner and Ricochet, Soft Target Archery and Crazy Golf Hire.
And that's it! We're now in June, which means Summer is officially here and things are about to get even busier!
